Because of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Positively Pewaukee Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Taste of Lake Country.

According to Board President Missy Murray, “after careful and thoughtful consideration and out of caution for the health and safety of our community, attendees, artists, vendors, and staff, the North Shore Bank Taste of Lake Country presented by Habush, Habush and Rottier will not take place this summer. Safety has always been the top priority with this event, and it is even more so this year.”

“As Taste of Lake Country has become one of the go-to events in Waukesha County each summer, this was not an easy decision to make. Among other considerations, we followed the guidelines established by the Waukesha County Health Department and specifically their current recommendation against holding large public gatherings as would happen during our scheduled event dates” Murray said.

“We are so thankful for the support of our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and all our guests who have attended the event for the past 17 years.  We look forward to an even bigger event in 2021 as Positively Pewaukee will be celebrating our 25th anniversary,” added Murray.

Positively Pewaukee is still planning on holding its Waterfront Wednesday Concert Series starting sometime in July as the guidelines increase

Waterfront Wednesday will begin on July 8th, but will happen on a week by week basis.

We want to thank our wonderful sponsors for their generous support and hanging with us during this time! We also are so appreciative of the support of our volunteers, vendors and of course the awesome people who attend our events. We will do our best to provide fun, safe events this summer, even if they are on a much smaller scale.

Stay tuned for additional updates. Thank you for your continued support.
